What we Do
SmartChoice Roofing was founded by life-long Houstonians that have rich ties to their community and the people that live there. Although the founders currently reside in Friendswood, we consider all of the Houston area as home. It was our desire to build a company that provides a valuable service to our neighbors that prompted the vision for SmartChoice Roofing. We deeply value the relationships built with every one of our SmartChoice families that we are able to partner with.

SmartChoice Roofing was built by honest people who want nothing but to provide a quality product to our customers.
As head of our Colorado operation, Taylor Cragin oversees all sales, estimating, vendor relations, and project management throughout the Pikes Peak region for SmartChoice.
Originally from Friendswood, TX, Taylor and his family moved to Colorado Springs in early 2024 to help expand the SmartChoice Roofing brand. Taylor's wife, Chelsea, is a marriage and family therapist in Colorado Springs. Their three children, Redding, Palmer, and Samuel, all attend D11 schools.
A four-year letter winner and all-conference pitcher at TCU, Taylor graduated with a business degree in Entrepreneurial Management before embarking on a successful career in sales. He enjoys hiking, golf, skiing, fishing, and camping with the family.
